Senior Cybersecurity Incident Responder - Vulnerability Management

Administer and maintain Rapid7 InsightVM platform ensuring scan engine performance, asset coverage, and authenticated scanning across on-premises, cloud, and remote environments.

Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities using CVSS, threat intelligence, exploit availability, and business impact to drive risk-based remediation and provide contextual risk assessments correlated with active threats and incidents.

Monitor and investigate cybersecurity incidents using security platforms (Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, ReliaQuest, LogRhythm), conduct incident response activities including containment and root cause analysis, and support audits with documentation on vulnerability and remediation activities.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related field (mandatory).

Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity incident response, vulnerability management, or related security operations roles.

Hands-on expertise with Rapid7 InsightVM and experience with Microsoft Defender suite and Microsoft Sentinel required.

Relevant cybersecurity certification required (CISSP preferred; CEH, GIAC, or Microsoft Security certifications acceptable).

Experienced in managing vulnerability scans and incident response in a hybrid environment including on-premises, cloud, and remote setups with strong operational focus on Rapid7 InsightVM.

Skilled in threat hunting, vulnerability assessment, incident triage, and endpoint detection using SIEM and security monitoring platforms.

Familiar with supporting global distributed teams, particularly working with U.S.-based stakeholders in a remote or distributed operating model.
