Own end-to-end validation of two Kubernetes-based cloud platforms (Azure Local and FedRAMP-authorized GCP) covering deployment, Day-2 operations, upgrades, and decommission.
Design, execute, and document comprehensive tests for reliability, availability, scalability, security, observability, performance, recoverability, and upgradability using Given/When/Then format.
Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting from pod level to infrastructure including root cause analysis and resilience/chaos testing using relevant tools.
5+ years of QA/SDET experience with at least 2 years hands-on Kubernetes and 1+ year experience on Azure or GCP.
Strong hands-on skills with kubectl, Helm, operators, CRDs, PVCs, StatefulSets, ArgoCD or Flux, network policies, and node affinity.
Fluency reading Terraform, Ansible, and Helm charts for infrastructure troubleshooting; observability tools experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Alertmanager).
Experience in security and FedRAMP-aware testing including TLS/cert rotation, secret management, RBAC, container image scanning, audit logging, and regulatory control compliance documentation.
Experienced in hands-on Kubernetes platform QA with depth in both Azure and GCP cloud environments, including hybrid on-prem topologies.
Skilled in writing structured test cases understandable by engineering, PM, SRE, and operations, often participating early in design and planning phases as an equal contributor.
Capable of complex problem solving across infrastructure layers with a security and reliability focus, managing parallel platforms with observability-first testing approaches.
