Senior Test Engineer Manual

Perform comprehensive manual functional and regression testing focused on engineering estimation, quotation calculation, and HVAC-related business processes.

Validate complex financial and mathematical calculation outputs, including SQL backend data verification, API, and UI testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Developers, and Engineering SMEs to maintain application stability, support UAT, defect triage, and production release readiness.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in manual software testing for enterprise business applications involving engineering configuration or quotation calculation systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Controls Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience in relevant QA and SQL validation.

Proficient in SQL Server with ability to write basic to intermediate queries and validate stored procedures and multiple backend tables.

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger; strong understanding of financial/mathematical calculation validation and HVAC business process knowledge preferred.

Experienced in validating configurable, data-driven engineering estimation and quotation calculation systems, with strong focus on financial accuracy and regression coverage.

Comfortable working in complex, cross-functional environments requiring detailed test scenario preparation, defect reporting, and supporting production readiness.

Hands-on with multiple testing layers including UI, API, SQL, and configuration-driven workflows within enterprise .NET and SQL Server applications.
