BI Developer

Build and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models using governed enterprise data, ensuring end-to-end delivery from requirements to deployment and support.

Ensure data accuracy through rigorous testing, validation, and root cause analysis of BI layers, monitoring ETL and BI processes for failures, and resolving defects.

Collaborate with Data Engineering and business users to define and document metrics, support BI standards, provide training, and contribute metadata to the enterprise data catalog.

Bachelor's degree or higher in MIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field; equivalent professional experience accepted.

Proven experience as BI Developer/Analyst delivering enterprise BI solutions, including dashboard/report development and semantic modeling.

Advanced expertise in Power BI (Tabular models, DAX), SQL/T-SQL, understanding of medallion architecture, and familiarity with Azure data stack and ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks).

Mandatory home office setup with broadband minimum 30 Mbps from approved providers; company-provided IT equipment usage required.

Experienced in working with enterprise-scale BI data governed via medallion architecture in modern Azure-based platforms integrating Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

Comfortable handling end-to-end BI lifecycle with minimal oversight, including technical troubleshooting, metric development, and collaboration with Data Engineers and business stakeholders.

Background or familiarity with retail/consumer goods analytics, POS data, retail metrics, and modern BI development practices such as DataOps and Agile.
