Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain small to medium complexity data products, systems, and platforms focused on risk and big data processing.
Implement and support scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines covering ingestion, cleaning, processing, enrichment, and serving, leveraging modern big data and AI technologies.
Learn and apply development best practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), TDD/BDD, microservices architecture, and proactive system monitoring and incident response.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Work Experience Required: 1 year of software engineering experience is a plus, but not strictly mandatory.
Strong programming skills in Java, C#, Golang, or Python with knowledge of automated testing and monitoring.
Working understanding of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, SQL, relational databases, data pipeline development, and data warehousing concepts.
Early career engineer with a strong foundation in software development practices and eagerness to work in risk and big data domains.
Interested in learning and adopting modern technologies including cloud infrastructure, big data platforms, AI, and Infrastructure as Code automation.
Able to work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders to translate customer/business problems into effective data-focused technical solutions.
