Strong knowledge of communication standards and protocols: Ethernet, RF Sub GHz, Zigbee, MQTT, AMQP, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa.
Experience in requirements analysis, system requirements flow down, FMEA design failure mode analysis, and embedded IoT connectivity technologies.
Experienced in embedded IoT product system engineering within safety or security domains, preferably residential fire safety.
Comfortable working in a cross-functional, global environment engaging with multiple stakeholders and different time zones.
Ability to lead system design decisions balancing trade-offs and proactively resolving technical issues before impact.
