Tier-1 employer and metro location increase applicants, but niche OT security specialization limits candidate pool.
Specialized OT/ICS security skills and regulated manufacturing experience limit cross-industry transferability.
7+ years and mandatory hands-on OT security in regulated manufacturing create strict filtering.

Execute operational technology (OT) network segmentation at Danaher manufacturing sites, including firewalls, VLANs, DMZs, and zone-based access controls per specified architecture.
Partner with site OT engineers during implementation to ensure accuracy, mitigate production risk, and adapt to site constraints within approved architecture.
Validate and document OT segmentation post-deployment, maintain site network configurations and risk registries, and support handover to operations with runbooks and escalation procedures.
7+ years of experience in OT security engineering, industrial network engineering, or IT/OT integration with hands-on network segmentation in active manufacturing environments.
Hands-on skills configuring industrial firewalls, VLAN network segmentation, and DMZ design in OT/industrial environments in production settings.
Working knowledge of OT/ICS components (PLCs, SCADA, HMI, BMS) and OT cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82).
Experience with regulated manufacturing environments (life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical devices, chemical) including operational and GxP change management constraints.
Experienced in executing OT network changes within active, regulated production environments with a focus on operational risk mitigation.
Practically skilled in translating detailed OT security architecture into compliant, site-specific deployments working closely with operational teams.
Familiarity with OT asset discovery tools (Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos, Armis) and maintaining OT risk registers and GxP-governed change control processes is a plus.
