Lead and manage a team of 15+ buyers responsible for procurement operations and shortage management to prevent production line downtime.
Oversee procurement process performance metrics, conduct performance appraisals, mentor team members, and drive continuous process improvements including supplier performance management.
Handle stakeholder and supplier escalations, ensure timely PO placements, and prepare customized reports to analyze and improve procurement processes.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in buying, order processing, supply chain management, or procurement in the manufacturing industry (preferably electronics).
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Proficient in ERP systems (preferably BAAN), MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Willingness to work Night Shift (7pm to 4am).
Experienced in managing large procurement teams with end-to-end procurement and supply chain expertise in manufacturing environments.
Skilled in data analysis and reporting to drive procurement process improvements and supplier performance.
Capable of stakeholder communication and escalation management while mentoring and developing team members.
