Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java/J2EE with end-to-end ownership from design to deployment and monitoring.
Build and optimize high-performance distributed systems and implement AI-driven enhancements integrating generative AI and LLMs into backend services.
Collaborate across teams to deliver features, ensure code quality with unit and automation tests, and optimize for performance, scalability, and reliability.
4–5 years of backend development experience specifically with Java / J2EE, Springboot, Kafka, and React technologies.
Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, multithreading, memory management, and system design.
Proficiency in databases: MySQL/PostgreSQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), with SQL skills including complex queries, window functions, indexing, and transaction management.
Experience or familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) is a plus but not mandatory as a hard filter.
Experienced backend engineer with solid expertise in Java ecosystem and modern system design oriented towards scalable distributed systems.
Comfortable integrating AI technologies into existing software and enhancing backend services with generative AI, vector databases, and AI orchestration layers.
Capable of owning feature development independently with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and able to collaborate effectively with product, design, and QA teams.
