Mid-level, popular Data Engineer role at a well-known media brand with broad cloud and pipeline requirements increases competition.
Core data engineering skills (Spark, Python, SQL, cloud architectures) are highly transferable across industries.
Explicit 3–7 years plus mandatory Databricks/Snowflake, PySpark, Kafka, and AWS experience raises shortlisting strictness.
