Lead socio-economic workstreams within major infrastructure, energy, mining, and transition projects globally, delivering high-quality impact assessments and social value analyses.
Manage discrete workstreams and small teams (1–2 people), ensuring coordination between Consulting Delivery Hub and regional teams to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Act as primary client contact for socio-economic workstreams, presenting findings and addressing queries from clients and regulators to support project consents and social license to operate.
Bachelor's degree in economics, human geography, sociology, planning, public policy, development studies, or closely related social science discipline; master's degree desirable.
2–3 years relevant experience in consulting, research, or policy with demonstrated delivery of socio-economic analysis, impact assessment, or economic appraisal outputs.
Proven experience drafting socio-economic baseline and impact assessment chapters for EIA/ESIA or similar economic appraisal/business case documents.
Working knowledge of UK/Irish EIA and consenting regimes (e.g. DCO, Section 36, TCPA) and/or international frameworks like IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles.
Experienced in socio-economic assessment for major infrastructure projects, especially NSIPs, DCOs, or comparable consenting regimes including ESIA socio-economics aligned with international standards.
Capable of applying quantitative and qualitative methods including HM Treasury Green Book principles and use of UK demographic and economic datasets for robust economic modeling.
Able to manage end-to-end delivery of socio-economic workstreams in a global or hub environment, demonstrating strong client management and project coordination skills.
