Manage test execution and oversight for Interlocking (IxL) subsystem in large-scale railway infrastructure projects involving CBTC and non-CBTC signaling systems.
Own lab data testing scope including preparing test cases/specifications, executing functional and lab tests, and reviewing test documentation for IxL subsystems.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including development, validation, and project teams; report to line management; support onsite installation and testing when required.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 5 years professional experience in railway transportation systems focusing on IxL subsystem testing (CBTC/Non CBTC).
Hands-on experience in functional, lab, and test setup activities for IxL subsystems; integration and site acceptance testing (SAT) experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of Linux, VMware, networking (IP addressing, routing), and server environments (ESXi, Windows). Fluent English required; German or Spanish is an advantage.
Experienced in testing IxL subsystems within railway signaling projects, with strong grasp of operational scenarios and interface requirements.
Capability to independently prepare and execute detailed test cases, coordinate multiple stakeholder groups, and navigate complex test environments including automation aspects.
Familiarity with Siemens-specific products (WKII, R9k, TGMT, TG200) and knowledge of related subsystems (ATS, ATC, Communication) and quality management processes.
