Manage India finance operations including statutory compliance, foreign remittance, accounting, banking, audit support, and management reporting for Assent's India entity.
Own India compliance calendar and coordinate timely payment, documentation, and reporting of GST, TDS, payroll taxes, Companies Act filings, FEMA/RBI requirements, and audits.
Support accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, fixed asset management, AP/vendor payments, intercompany transactions, audit coordination, and process improvements.
5–8+ years of relevant experience in India finance operations, statutory and tax compliance, accounting, audit support, or controllership.

Experienced in managing end-to-end India statutory compliance and finance processes with demonstrated stakeholder coordination involving auditors, consultants, banks, and global teams.
Comfortable driving process standardization, transition of finance functions from external providers to internal teams, and implementing controls and automation.
Background in multinational, technology, SaaS, GCC, or shared services environments with strong ownership and operational accountability for compliance and reporting functions.
