Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot test instances and databases on-premises and in cloud environments (AWS or GCP) using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
Develop and execute performance tests using tools like LoadRunner, DevWeb, Apache Benchmark, Cypress, and custom scripts in Python, Perl, Bash, and SQL.
Analyze performance data and logs from multiple tools (e.g., Jenkins, PostgreSQL, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog) to diagnose issues and collaborate with engineering to resolve them.
6+ years of dedicated performance engineering experience, preferably with complex, containerized, distributed products in the cloud.
Strong experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP and/or AWS).
Proficiency with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter and scripting languages like Bash, Perl, or Python.
Experience diagnosing bottlenecks in PostgreSQL or other relational database queries and using performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
Experienced in performance engineering for containerized and distributed cloud applications with operational knowledge of both on-prem and cloud environments.
Able to independently own task execution end-to-end, from setup, testing, issue diagnosis, to cross-team collaboration.
Strong analytical skills demonstrated by consistent use of diverse monitoring and logging tools to pinpoint and resolve complex performance issues.
