Lead Software Engineer - AI-Augmented Full Stack Development

Lead integration of AI-assisted tools across full stack software development to accelerate delivery without compromising quality or security.

Own design and delivery of secure, scalable technology products collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and business owners.

Drive team adoption and establish standards for AI-assisted engineering practices including code review, test acceleration, and incident analysis to improve operational outcomes.

5+ years applied experience with formal software engineering training or certification.

Experience building production full stack software systems with deep knowledge of system architecture including databases, authentication, API design, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot or similar and integration of AI/LLM capabilities into applications.

Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (Java/Spring Boot, React/Angular preferred); strong understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, security, and responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Experienced leader in AI-assisted software engineering driving adoption of enterprise-authorized AI tools and establishing validation standards within teams.

Comfortable making trade-offs between coding, low-code/orchestration tools, and optimizing for speed, performance, and security.

Skilled at rapid prototyping and iteration in ambiguous problem spaces with ability to architect solutions where AI handles implementation and engineer focuses on business logic and edge cases.
