Independently prepare and review construction health & safety documentation including RAMS, method statements, JSAs, hazard registers, and safety plans ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
Critically assess and verify risk controls for higher-risk construction activities (e.g. work at height, lifting, excavation) and monitor contractor H&S plans to drive compliance improvements.
Support incident and near-miss investigations through root-cause analysis and provide technical H&S advice to global regional teams, contractors and clients to improve safety delivery consistency.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental or Civil Engineering or related discipline.
3–5 years of health & safety experience with exposure to construction or infrastructure projects (a relevant master's degree may offset this).
Mandatory knowledge of construction H&S standards such as CDM 2015 (or equivalent), safe systems of work, permit-to-work, and control of high-risk activities.
NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health & Safety (or equivalent) and NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) mandatory; recognized construction-safety qualification must be held or in progress.
Operates with minimal supervision as a developing specialist capable of independent technical judgement across multiple global projects and time zones.
Experienced in multi-region/global consulting environments delivering construction H&S expertise and familiar with international construction H&S legislation and ISO 45001 management systems.
Demonstrates ability to mentor junior HSE staff and raise technical standards within a hub supporting large-scale, complex construction projects.
