Design, execute, and report software/system tests focusing on functional, API, database, and requirements-based testing within an Agile environment.
Prepare system test requirements matrix by reviewing customer and engineering documents and write requirements-based test procedures.
Drive management and resolution of system issues, coordinate with engineering and program management, and maintain the project test environment and configuration.
Bachelor's degree in Technology (B Tech), Master’s in Computer Application (MCA), or related field.
Minimum 2 years of software testing experience, preferably in an Agile environment.
Hands-on experience with functional testing, API testing using Postman/Swagger/REST APIs, SQL/database testing, and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Test automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress is preferred; exposure to CI/CD pipelines and programming/scripting (Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
Experienced in Agile software development and testing environments with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Capable of multitasking and resolving software defects effectively by working closely with development and management teams.
Strong technical proficiency in test case design, execution, API and database testing, and familiarity with test automation and continuous integration concepts.
