Develop, document, and execute test strategies and plans for verifying Calix access network solutions including data, voice, video services on hardware and software.
Perform regression, scalability, compliance testing and validate customer use cases; troubleshoot, debug, and reproduce field issues.
Collaborate with product development teams to provide testing feedback; use traffic generators and analyze data packets relevant to video, data, and voice testing.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years experience in data communications or telecom product testing focussing on L2/L3 protocols, GPON, XGSPON, NGPON, Active Ethernet, TR-069, Netconf or similar.
Must be fully vaccinated for onsite work at Calix Bangalore office with hybrid work model (office presence ~20 days per quarter).
Familiarity with test automation required.
Experienced in end-to-end validation of access network products in telecom domain with multi-service protocols.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to communicate testing status and issues clearly to management.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in hybrid onsite/remote working environment.
