Own and drive the verification and test strategy for Enphase's inverter firmware to ensure compliance with engineering requirements, design specifications, safety, and worldwide grid standards.
Develop, implement, and execute automated test systems (using Python and Ruby) for continuous integration and comprehensive functional, efficiency, and safety testing of solar microinverter hardware and firmware.
Provide technical leadership including coaching, mentoring engineers, and influencing test-related hardware and firmware design decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Power Electronics/Power Systems (B.E / B. Tech).
8+ years of experience in embedded firmware test, Design Verification Test (DVT), or Quality Assurance (QA) roles.
Strong Python programming skills for test equipment control and data analysis; Ruby experience is a plus.
Must be available to work on-site at Bangalore office 5 days a week.
Experienced in embedded firmware design, implementation, test, deployment, and maintenance for power electronics or inverter systems.
Familiar with global grid standards (e.g., IEEE 1547, 1741 SA, CA Rule 21, AS/NZS 4777.2) and advanced grid functions including grid-code certification testing.
Proven technical leadership in test strategy, design-for-test influence, mentoring junior engineers, and establishing continuous integration pipelines for embedded firmware test.
