Own and drive verification and test strategy for Enphase's inverter firmware ensuring compliance with engineering, design, safety, and global grid standards.
Develop and execute automated test systems using Python and Ruby to enable continuous integration and comprehensive testing coverage across functional, efficiency, and safety aspects.
Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers, coaching staff on test procedures and equipment, and contributing to technical direction in inverter firmware development.
Bachelor's degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Power Systems.
Minimum 8 years of experience in embedded firmware test, design verification test (DVT), or QA engineering roles.
Proficient in Python programming for test automation; Ruby experience is a plus.
Must be available to work on-site in Bangalore 5 days per week.
Experienced in embedded firmware lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance with strong knowledge of inverter/grid firmware.
Demonstrated technical leadership in test strategy, design-for-test influence, continuous integration pipelines, and mentoring engineers.
In-depth familiarity with global grid codes, advanced grid functions, fault conditions, AC grid simulators, and certification testing relevant to solar microinverters.
