Design, develop, and maintain software development solutions within defined systems, platforms, or products to promote enterprise data consistency, reduce risk, and increase efficiency.
Participate in architectural specifications, user requirements gathering, technical design, coding, peer reviews, production support, and incident resolution for front-end, back-end, SaaS, and COTS platforms.
Identify innovative technical solutions and ensure secure design, coding practices, automated testing, and application monitoring following agile methodologies.
7+ years of relevant work experience in software platform engineering or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree (any stream) or diploma with minimum 15 years of education.
Hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database or Azure Synapse Analytics), Python or other programming languages, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, automated testing, and application operations/monitoring.
Experienced in both front-end and back-end development as well as SaaS and/or COTS platform delivery in enterprise environments.
Familiar with data modeling, database optimization, agile practices, collaboration tools, and production incident/problem management.
Comfortable working under a director-level leadership with a focus on architectural design, cross-team collaboration, and complex solution delivery involving cloud and on-premises technologies.
