Design, program, debug, and maintain embedded firmware for the Micro800 PLC family using tools like IAR Embedded Workbench and hardware debug tools (JTAG).
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Bangalore and Singapore, including Firmware, Hardware, System Test, and Product Management.
Participate in Agile development practices and conduct technical investigations, root cause analysis, and code/design reviews to ensure firmware robustness and quality.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Computer Science Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded firmware/software product development.
Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems; C++ experience also required.
Experience with 32-bit MCU architectures (e.g., STM32), development with RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, ThreadX), and embedded communication protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, USB, WiFi, CAN, Profibus).
Experienced with low-level driver development and hardware-oriented firmware design based on chip/component specs and schematics.
Able to use hardware-assisted debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer) and participate in continuous process and quality improvements in embedded firmware development.
Familiarity with industrial automation, control systems, or PLC environments is preferred but not mandatory.
