Design, develop, and support FactSet’s Customer Identity and Access Management (IAM) services primarily using Java.
Manage IAM services that store customer identities, authenticate users/workloads, authorize requests, and propagate internal identity tokens across hundreds of microservices used organization-wide.
Participate in on-call rotations for production incident management and collaborate with multiple teams to respond to stakeholder queries promptly.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
5+ years programming experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language.
Experience with IAM authentication protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
Experience building services using relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience implementing role-based access control systems in large, distributed environments.
Demonstrated ability to design and maintain RESTful HTTP APIs.
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and strong understanding of web browser behaviors such as Cookies and CORS.
