Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of complex Oracle databases, including security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
Own uptime and support for assigned databases across production, BCP, UAT, SIT, and DEV environments, including on-call support and shift flexibility.
Provide technical leadership and consultation on database technology direction, policies, and best practices, particularly within banking domain contexts.
5+ years of database engineering experience or equivalent (work experience, training, military, education).
Hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS architecture, administration, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, clustering, replication, and tuning.
Willingness to work in shifts and provide on-call support.
Work Location: Bangalore or Hyderabad.
Experienced Oracle DBA with strong operational ownership of database uptime and support in banking environments.
Capable of independently leading complex data modeling, integration, capacity planning, and next-generation database technology initiatives.
Familiarity with scripting, monitoring tools, and knowledge of MongoDB/EDB or Python scripting considered advantageous.
