Operate and provide second-line support for Shell's SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring stability, reliability, and security across application and infrastructure services.
Investigate and resolve operational incidents and problem tickets related to the BTP platform, including automation of tasks using scripting languages (Java, Python) and maintaining Azure VMs for BTP connectivity.
Collaborate with Application Support, Project Delivery, and vendor teams to support business continuity, deliver new capabilities, and implement improvements following Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Bachelor’s degree in Technology or related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT industry.
Hands-on knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Basis administration, scripting (Java or Python), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure Power Platform), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience working in Agile/SAFe environment and knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL processes.
Experienced in operating enterprise-level SAP BTP platforms with strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
Able to manage multi-discipline technical incidents end-to-end under business SLA commitments, working effectively with global, cross-cultural teams.
Familiar with cloud infrastructure, automation, and integration technologies, and capable of translating complex business requirements into functional technical specifications.
