Review and investigate AML transaction monitoring alerts at L2 level, including complex cases with unusual patterns and high-risk indicators.
Prepare investigation narratives and SAR-supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with client procedures.
Collaborate with internal and client teams for case calibration, process alignment, and support process improvements targeting alert trends and control weaknesses.
2 to 6 years of experience in AML transaction monitoring, financial crime investigations, or compliance operations.
Hands-on experience reviewing transaction monitoring system alerts and conducting L2 investigations with escalation decision-making.
Strong understanding of AML red flags, SAR/STR preparation, and experience with KYC/CDD/EDD information in investigations.
Ability to meet productivity, quality, and SLA targets in a fast-paced compliance environment; willingness to work shifts or client-aligned schedules.
Experienced in handling complex financial crime investigations requiring analytical thinking and robust decision-making.
Operates effectively within compliance frameworks, maintaining high documentation standards suitable for audit and regulatory review.
Familiarity or experience with fintech, payments, crypto, or financial services environments and associated transaction monitoring tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
