Lead and develop the APAC data network engineering team with direct accountability for design, build, automation, security, and modernization of the bank's data network across data centre, campus, WAN, wireless, and SD-WAN domains.
Set technical direction, establish engineering standards, and own end-to-end delivery of network transformation programs ensuring operational risk and regulatory compliance.
Serve as senior technical escalation point and personally lead hands-on engineering activities including architecture, troubleshooting, and network automation using tools like Ansible and scripting.
Minimum 14 years of enterprise network engineering experience including leading engineering teams and delivering large-scale network transformation projects.
Advanced, current, hands-on expertise in at least three of these core areas: Cisco ACI; Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN; routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP); Cisco Wireless.
CCIE Data Center or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification, or demonstrable expert-level technical depth equivalent to these certifications.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent; experience in banking/financial services and APAC regional exposure advantageous.
Proven technical leader with hands-on ability to guide and execute complex network engineering tasks in large, business-critical environments.
Experienced in driving network automation and NetDevOps practices including Ansible, scripting, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code for network provisioning and compliance.
Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable network solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.
