Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (8+) and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
Develop RESTful APIs, integrate with internal/external systems, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver high-quality software.
Implement components from design specs with unit testing, code reviews, and support CI/CD pipeline creation including deployment and release activities.
6+ years of Java development experience (Java 8 or above).
Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and microservices architecture.
Experience with REST API development, databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), version control (GitLab), build tools (Maven/Gradle), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Work Experience Required: 6+ years in software development, particularly Java backend development.
Experienced in building scalable, distributed systems and microservices with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), API security (OAuth2, JWT), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and observability tools (Prometheus, Dynatrace, ELK).
Prior exposure to BFSI domain and hands-on Kubernetes orchestration preferred for strategic fit in enterprise environments.
