Plan, execute, and optimize non-functional and operational acceptance testing (OAT) for critical banking applications to ensure security, scalability, reliability, and production readiness.
Conduct failover, high-availability, disaster recovery drills, and backup/restore validations in on-premises environments.
Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and QA teams to ensure compliance with operational standards, SLAs, and ITIL processes, and document detailed test reports with risks and recommendations.
6+ years of experience in non-functional testing (NFT) and operational acceptance testing (OAT) within the Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) domain.
Experience with performance, security, scalability, reliability, and availability testing for BFSI applications.
Strong knowledge of network, middleware, database tuning, monitoring tools, and hands-on experience with RTGS Systems (SWIFT, PayPlus, GMPlus, NetReveal).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; ISTQB certification preferred but not mandatory.
Experienced tester with strong technical background in non-functional and operational testing of banking applications, specifically in payments and trading systems.
Ability to manage end-to-end OAT processes including planning, execution, failover and disaster recovery drills, and cross-team collaboration.
Familiarity with operational and ITIL processes in a complex BFSI infrastructure environment, aiming to improve testing frameworks and ensure production readiness.
