Develop and tune detection rules and use cases across SIEM and monitoring platforms, improving detection accuracy and coverage.
Analyze security telemetry and logs from endpoints, networks, cloud, and identity systems to identify threats and reduce false positives.
Collaborate with SOC, incident response, and threat intelligence teams to enhance alert fidelity and support investigations; contribute to detection engineering lifecycle and AI/ML-enabled solution integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
0-2 years of experience in Security Operations, SOC, or related domains.
Experience designing, implementing, and operating security services with ownership of reliability, performance, and security.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar), log analysis, detection rule creation, security frameworks (MITRE, Cyber Kill Chain), and understanding of network fundamentals and common attack techniques.
Experience or exposure to AI/ML-enabled security systems, including integration and operation for threat detection and response improvements.
Depth in at least one security specialization such as cloud security, application security, identity and access management, endpoint security, or security automation.
Comfortable working across multiple technical domains and collaborating with SOC, incident response, and threat intelligence to operationalize detections.
