Translate customer requirements into software designs and develop complex packet forwarding features related to IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, multicast, firewall/filter, CoS, DHCP, and services.
Analyze, debug, and resolve complex microkernel/Linux issues and enhance automated unit tests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and address complex network software problems, support existing features, and assist with customer issue resolution.
B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a reputed institution.
Minimum 2+ years of software development experience.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python with solid networking background.
Experience with software development on routers/switches and datapath ASICs (Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot, or other NPUs) is highly desirable.
Onsite work expected at HPE office.
Experienced in designing and delivering network packet forwarding software features in data center environments.
Comfortable working with multi-core software architectures and complex debugging tasks in microkernel/Linux environments.
Capable of managing end-to-end software development cycles with strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and product development processes.
