Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases including versions from 2008 to 2025, supporting SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and clustering technologies like Always On and log shipping.
Implement and maintain database performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and monitor using tools like Profiler, SSMS, Foglight, AppDynamics and Redgate.
Support and manage AWS database environments including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server; assist developers in code review and troubleshoot incidents including root cause analysis.
6-8 years of total experience in database administration.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases including clustering, Always On, replication, backup/recovery tools (CommVault, litespeed), and monitoring tools (Foglight, AppDynamics, Redgate).
Good knowledge and experience working with AWS databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and PowerShell scripting.
Experienced in managing high transaction databases in clustered environments with strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning and incident management.
Familiar with ITIL fundamentals and preferably certified; certified Database Administrator is an advantage.
Comfortable working independently or collaboratively to meet deadlines, with practical skills in query optimization, deadlock resolution, and root cause analysis.
