Own requirements engineering and design trade-offs for farm-level closed loop EDGE applications and analytics for wind turbines and wind farms.
Design, develop, test, validate, and deploy software features and analytics algorithms in C#, .NET, and Python on SCADA & EDGE platforms including containerization and deployment in real wind farm environments.
Collaborate across global engineering and research teams to support product configuration, sustainment, customer support, and lead design implementation efforts with up to 10% travel.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controls or Computer Science Engineering (Renewable Energy emphasis preferred).
Experience in software development, testing, validation, and deployment using C#, .NET, and Python.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containerization environments.
Experience with wind turbine systems, Industrial SCADA & EDGE systems, Control system design, MATLAB Simulink, C/C++/C#, GEV Renewables SCADA & EDGE platforms, SDLC, Agile methodology, cybersecurity, and coding standards.
Experienced in applying system and software design principles specifically in renewable energy and wind turbine control systems.
Capable of executing software development lifecycle activities autonomously within global, cross-functional teams.
Effective communicator with proven ability to document technical programs and lead design review discussions with senior engineers.
