Provide end-to-end support for Automation Systems projects including design, implementation, and completion covering automation philosophy, control narratives, architecture design, data flow, systems integration, and HMI design.
Assist in design and implementation of Automation and Control Systems ensuring adherence to Chevron and industry engineering standards and information risk compliance.
Manage change processes for instrumentation, controls, and IT design packages; provide technical guidance, troubleshoot equipment and systems, and improve Automation Engineering tools and work processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from AICTE recognized university.
Minimum 3 years on-site facility experience.
Configuration experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen-Bradley or Emerson PAC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (AVEVA System Platform).
Work Experience Required: Minimum 3 years onsite facility experience in Automation Systems relevant to oil and gas.
5-10 years experience in Automation Systems roles preferably with owner operator, control systems supplier or systems integrator in onshore, upstream oil and gas facilities.
Experience executing greenfield and/or brownfield projects in upstream oil and gas settings.
Comfortable working in project lifecycle management and applying industry engineering standards to automation system design and implementation.
