Design and build core AI platform capabilities including orchestration layers for LLM workflows, multi-step agent pipelines, vector data infrastructure, and LLM interfaces with SLAs and operational controls.
Develop and maintain observability tooling (logging, tracing, analytics), security frameworks (data classification, PII controls, content filtering), and infrastructure automation (IaC, CI/CD) for AI services.
Partner with cross-functional teams to productionize and adopt AI platform features, participate in on-call rotations, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and developer experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years of overall software engineering experience; 3+ years building AI platform components.
4+ years experience implementing LLM-based services including prompt templates, function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and rate/latency management.
Hybrid work environment in office 6-8 days per month (location requirement).
Strong background in designing and operating enterprise-scale AI/GenAI platforms with focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
Experience working cross-functionally with security, data engineering, and product teams to deliver governed and compliant AI solutions.
Proficient in managing AI workloads with SLAs, observability, and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments (preferably AWS).
