Perform end-to-end accounting functions including month-end closing, audit support, revenue recognition, project costing, and general ledger management for a dynamic business segment.
Manage accounts receivable processes including monitoring DSO, retention, write-offs, and credit notes; conduct regular account reconciliations and balance sheet validations to ensure accuracy and support management decisions.
Maintain internal controls, manage compliance including SOX requirements, support internal/external audits, and act as a business partner addressing accounting queries and process improvements.
Qualified Chartered Accountant.
5+ years of experience in revenue recognition, project costing, financial reporting, accounting, and statutory compliance.
On-site work location: Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Work Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years; prior real estate/construction industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Experienced in managing small teams (3-5 members) in a finance manager or team lead capacity.
Strong expertise with various revenue recognition methods and practical application, preferably familiar with US GAAP and management accounting in a US MNC context.
Capable of handling finance process standardization, controls & compliance, and possessing excellent communication skills to interact with all business levels including senior leadership.
