Manage sales, open access contracts, and short-term bidding/tenders to maximize profitability and ensure regulatory compliance.
Oversee daily power trading operations on various markets (RTM, DAM, TAM) including exchange bidding, contract monitoring, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead MIS reporting, digitization/automation initiatives, and team performance management aligned with business strategy.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) required; additional qualifications in Energy Management or Business Administration preferred.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in power trading negotiations, contract management, or related roles.
Experience in power/energy sector with knowledge of power trading mechanisms, policy landscape, and renewable energy trading preferred.
Work Experience Required: Minimum 6 years.
Experienced in managing complex power trading operations involving tender analysis, contract negotiation, exchange bidding, and regulatory compliance.
Comfortable coordinating across diverse internal teams (O&M, Finance, Legal) and external stakeholders (utilities, SLDC, RLDC, energy exchanges).
Skilled in strategic decision-making based on market intelligence and competitor analysis to optimize trading outcomes and contract performance.
