Lead development and deployment of robotic solutions across manufacturing shops, including simulation, programming, and on-floor execution.
Manage project scope, resources, schedules, and communications to ensure efficient and high-quality robotic applications deployment.
Drive innovation and standardization in robotics technology, including immersive technologies (VR, AR, MR), compliance with GM engineering standards, and continuous process improvements.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
4 to 12 years of experience in Robotics from Automotive OEMs or Engineering Organizations.
Strong expertise in robotic systems, simulation, offline programming, and manufacturing automation processes such as welding, material handling, roller hemming, laser welding, and clinching.
Work arrangement: Hybrid, expected to report onsite 4 times per week; GM does NOT provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
Experienced in leading multiple robotic deployment projects with strong project coordination across cross-functional and global teams.
Proficient in technical approval, simulation review, and aligning suppliers/ programming agencies to GM's technical and quality standards.
Capable of integrating robotics with control systems, driving innovation while maintaining execution discipline, and managing complex stakeholder communications.
