Manage end-to-end Expense Accounting and reporting activities within Global Finance Centre (GFC).
Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and account consolidations.
Partner with Global Process Owner (GPO) to drive process improvements, controls enhancements, automation, and support transformation & re-engineering projects.
7-10 years progressive experience in Accounting Operations, Controllers function in Record to Report processes.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or MBA; Accounting qualification required (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
Extensive practical experience and knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), knowledge of Essbase and Oracle Financials; experience with accounting technology implementation (Oracle, SAP).
Experienced in Shared Services or Controllership teams focused on accounting operations and internal controls (SOX, RCSA).
Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial close processes and maintain strong control environments.
Capable of leading accounting process automation and ERP implementation initiatives in a large institution.
