Lead and own end-to-end quality engineering strategy for API/service-layer products including functional, integration, regression, and contract testing.
Develop and maintain Java-based API automation frameworks using Cucumber/Gherkin and RestAssured; perform manual testing as required for complex scenarios.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, manage test execution and defect lifecycle using ALM/Octane, and report quality metrics using Allure.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
6+ years of QA/Testing experience with at least 2 years in a QA lead or quality ownership role.
Strong hands-on experience with Java-based API test automation using Cucumber (BDD) and RestAssured.
Experience with Allure reporting, ALM/Octane test management, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
Experienced in leading QA teams/product quality accountability in Agile environments with strong focus on test automation and CI/CD integration.
Technically proficient in Java automation frameworks for API testing, with ability to contribute hands-on as well as mentor others.
Skilled at communicating release readiness and quality risks effectively across cross-functional teams and able to unblock dependencies.
