Own accurate financial reporting of balance sheet and income statement for M&G Insurance entities ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and Solvency II.
Perform quarterly general ledger close and reconciliations for complex balance sheet and income statement areas, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support and prepare detailed Solvency II reporting, IRSF 17 inputs, internal and external audit processes, and collaborate with multiple finance and actuarial teams.
Experience in financial reporting, accounting, or insurance accounting, specifically in Life Insurance.
Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards mandatory; Solvency II regulatory knowledge advantageous.

Work Experience Required: Prior experience in insurance accounting (life insurance) specifically is required; IFRS 17 and Solvency II experience beneficial but not mandatory.
Experienced in insurance financial reporting with specific exposure to life insurance and preferably with knowledge of With Profits products.
Capable of handling complex reconciliations, detailed financial analysis, and regulatory reporting under tight deadlines.
Effective collaborator across multi-disciplinary finance, actuarial, audit, and technology teams involved in insurance finance operations.
