Define architecture and implement embedded firmware based on high-level system requirements for power generation platforms.
Design, develop, test, debug, and optimize embedded system software, ensuring system resource efficiency, stability, and scalability.
Lead code and design reviews; collaborate with hardware teams and FW Test engineers to verify and validate designs, including automated unit and regression testing.
6 - 10 years of experience in embedded software programming, working on multiple product development lifecycle stages.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in C/C++ programming with hands-on experience on embedded targets and real-time operating systems (preferably QNX RTOS).
Experience with automated unit testing for C/C++ applications and familiarity with configuration management and defect tracking tools.
Experienced in control systems firmware development, ideally for MarkVIe platforms, and knowledgeable about industrial protocols like MODBUS, Profibus, Profinet, FF, CAN, Ethernet.
Demonstrated ability to work in global, cross-functional engineering teams and lead high-quality design and code reviews.
Familiarity with software design for cybersecurity and exposure to C# development is a plus.
