Test and validate pharmaceutical equipment and material handling systems with electrical control panels, PLC, and HMI/IPC software independently.
Perform and lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for electrical control panels and peripheral equipment, coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
Manage review of engineering documents (P&ID, GA, FDS, IS, DCL), troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain testing/validation records in compliance with pharma regulatory standards.
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
4-5 years total experience as Industrial Automation and Controls Engineer with minimum 3 years relevant experience testing and validating pharma equipment.
Proficient with Siemens PLC programming (TIA portal V12-V21) and HMI software (WinCC variants), electrical control panel design, and knowledge of field instruments and pneumatic systems.
Willingness to travel 20-30% for FAT, commissioning, and plant qualification across India, APAC, LAM, Europe; pharma background preferred.
Strong expertise in both hardware and software aspects of automation and controls within pharmaceutical equipment environments.
Experienced in independently coordinating complex testing and commissioning activities involving multiple teams and external stakeholders.
Familiar with pharma regulations (21 CFR part 11, CE, UL, ATEX, GMP/GAMP/GxP) and capable of developing and maintaining testing and validation procedures as OEM representative.
