Validate and verify Advanced Monitoring and Control Software including distributed control system supervisor and related subsystems such as UI, databases, security, and network communications.
Own test planning, creation and execution of test cases, troubleshooting, debugging, and maintenance of test hardware and environments.
Collaborate with engineering teams and product management to ensure software meets product requirements and provide detailed bug reporting and suggestions for improvements.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing.
Experience with writing test plans, test cases and reports; defect tracking systems; test case management; and testing REST APIs using tools like Postman.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; experience with Git and Agile development lifecycle required.
Strong background in software test engineering with experience in UI testing, test automation, and network protocols.
Proven ability to develop and maintain test environments for complex distributed control systems.
Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and debugging software interactions; able to communicate technical issues clearly in English.
