Support the U.S. Direct Tax team by documenting and mapping tax data flows and metadata across federal and state tax processes.
Develop and maintain tax data inventory, data lineage diagrams, process maps, and support creation of standardized tax data models and taxonomies.
Prepare structured datasets and documentation for AI/GenAI use cases in tax automation and collaborate with Finance, IT, and Tax teams for requirements and validations.
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau; basic knowledge of SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts.
Understanding of data structures, databases, ETL processes; exposure to SAP or enterprise systems is a plus.
Must be an Indian Citizen or Permanent Resident; Location primarily Chennai or Bangalore; Intern role for 3–6 months (extendable).
Has interest and some exposure to AI/GenAI and data-driven digital transformation in finance or tax contexts.
Comfortable working with enterprise data environments and able to document complex data flows and tax-related metadata.
Capable of collaborative work with cross-functional teams including Tax, Finance, and Technology stakeholders.
