Own validation of product quality by analyzing and testing codebase with automated, repeatable test code to reduce manual efforts and improve consistency.
Develop and maintain automated tests for front-end, middleware, and database systems including RESTful APIs and microservices.
Lead technical efforts including repairing broken automation scripts, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
5-7 years of relevant work experience in QA Automation or similar role.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and professional experience.
Strong experience testing RESTful APIs, backend microservices, and message-driven systems (e.g., RabbitMQ).
Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language: Python, Bash, or JavaScript; experience with Docker, Jenkins, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
Experienced in automated test code development with software engineering-level coding standards and version control (GIT, SVN).
Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, performance/load testing, and maintaining automation frameworks across multiple system layers.
Able to independently prioritize work, lead technical QA efforts, and mentor less experienced team members in a fast-paced environment.
