Manage configuration and integration of Cisco/Arista routers, switches, F5 load balancers, and cloud networking services to support internal and client networks.
Lead network stability and performance improvements, including designing and implementing new connections to market data providers and other third parties.
Serve as escalation point for complex network troubleshooting and emergencies; mentor junior engineers; participate in weekend on-call shift rotation.
5-8 years relevant network engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
Strong hands-on experience with WAN/LAN technologies, TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP), multicast (PIM, IGMP, MSDP, GRE, MP-BGP).
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl) and experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Salt).
Experienced network engineer with demonstrated ability in real-time network project delivery and complex network troubleshooting.
Comfortable working with multi-vendor network operating systems including IOS, JunOS, EOS, and F5 TMOS.
Familiarity with financial industry networks or large enterprise network environments; experience designing networks, not just implementing/supporting.
