Own Independent Price Verification (IPV) validation and re-pricing of securities to ensure valuation accuracy.
Prepare, review, and analyze periodic IPV and back-testing reports; investigate valuation discrepancies and off-market price movements.
Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, audits, regulatory compliance, and lead process improvement and automation projects related to valuation.
10-12 years of progressive experience with at least 7-8 years core experience in Valuation and Independent Price Verification (IPV).
MBA, CA, or equivalent accounting degree.
Experience with Bloomberg preferred; securities knowledge preferred.
Strong analytical and Excel skills mandatory.
Experienced in coordinating cross-functional teams including Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, Risk, and external pricing vendors to resolve valuation issues.
Comfortable with controls, audit processes, and regulatory compliance in a financial institution context.
Capable of leading valuation governance, reporting, and strategic process improvement initiatives leveraging analytical platforms.
