Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based test automation frameworks and utilities, including REST Assured for API automation and Playwright with TypeScript/Java.
Design, execute, and manage manual and automated test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing within Agile sprint teams.
Participate in requirement analysis, defect lifecycle management, test planning, release readiness, and production support activities including occasional US business hours alignment.
Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/BE) or MCA in Computer Science or related field.
4–6 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on quality engineering and test automation.
Mandatory hands-on experience with Java, REST Assured for API testing, and Playwright using TypeScript and/or Java.
Location: Chennai or willing to work in Chennai.
Experienced in Agile delivery environments with ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, analysts, architects, and developers.
Able to independently own end-to-end testing lifecycle including automation enhancements and production support for enterprise-grade applications.
Capable of working flexibly across US time zones when required to support releases and stakeholder interactions.
