Establish, implement, maintain, and improve an integrated HSE Management System across all Seeds Business Unit R&D sites.
Develop and execute HSE objectives, standards, programs, audits, training, and incident investigations for Seeds R&D to ensure compliance with Syngenta HSE standards and legal regulations.
Provide technical HSE support to site leadership, manage risk assessments, coordinate with regional HSE leads, and ensure HSE operates within Fixed Expense and CAPEX Budgets.
Bachelor’s degree in health, safety, or equivalent discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing safety in a similar environment.
Knowledge and experience of HSE standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 45001 required.
Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, environmental legislation, HSE auditing, risk assessments, and contractor management.
Experienced in implementing and managing HSE systems within Seeds industry or similar agricultural/R&D environments.
Capable of leading cross-functional HSE compliance and continuous improvement initiatives within a matrix organization.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication skills with ability to handle incident investigations, risk assessments, and deliver training aligned to global and local standards.
